The Car Craft Pacer
This was on the cover of "Car Craft — drag racing's complete magazine", issue of January, 1976. There is a detailed description in the magazine of all the modifications the Pacer went through: paint job, fitting of a Porsche racing nose piece, some interior mods and different shocks. According to author John Dianna, "the Pacer handles so well" that those were the only additions to the suspension. The engine was left stock, but swapping it for an AMC 304 was suggested. Unfortunately all pictures in the article are b/w.
